Review:13 Fear Is Real....

Well, I finally watched 13:Fear Is Real and I must say I was disappointed with the show...I laughed my ass off when I saw how big "THE DEATH BOX" was....To call something a DEATH BOX sounds so dramatic, and then to see it in a birdcage just seemed too comical to me...
I think the scariest thing I saw on the show that night was the HUGE HERPE on the girl LEAH's LIP!!! AAAHHHGGGGGGGG!!!!!!

This show could use a little more horror in it...maybe if it was put on a later time slot it would be a little more graphic. I will still tune in and hope it gets better...Personally I get better vibes from ESTATE OF PANIC than this show.

Bring back MURDER IN SMALLTOWN X!!!!!!!

I have a problem with THE UNIVITED...

So I saw the commercial for THE UNINVITED and then it said "from the producers of "The Ring"... And I can see by the commercial that it's the SAME story I've already seen in The RING and JU-ON and ONE MISSED CALL (all of which I liked the original Asian versions better)... It's the same old story...
Victim gets haunted by ghost, ghost turns out to be victim themselves, ghost is trying to warn person they are haunting that someone they know is the killer...BORING!!!! They even did this in SHUTTER....
I don't know about you but I'm getting sick and tired of these movies...Seems the movie studios think we are dunderheads and will pay a fast buck to see something we've already seen in numerous other films!!!!


This movie won't be worth your time or money...Hey, movie studios, why not get a little creative and put more movies out there with twists like "The Orphanage"???

RAVENS WIN AGAIN!!!

Hey kids....Just saying that I'm occupied with my hometeam winning in the playoffs! The BALTIMORE RAVENS have won 2 games in the Playoffs and are going for a third next week! This is exactly what happened when we made it to the Super Bowl last time! We played all away games during the playoffs and made it to TAMPA to WIN the SUPER BOWL! I'm rooting BIG TIME for FLACCO! He's a great QB and deserves a win this year at the SUPER BOWL!!! Let's GO RAVENS! We are RAVEN MANIACS here at home! EVERYONE has been wearing and sporting their RAVEN swag like crazy! I have been wearing RAVENS gear EVERYDAY to support the team!!!

I guess you could tie this into to the horror stuff I usually blog about cuz the Ravens are named for our ties to EDGAR ALLAN POE and his wonderful tale of the black bird.... Poe is spooky and I'm proud to be a fan of the RAVENS!!!

This is where Poe was originally buried but had to be moved due to grave robbers back in the day....He is now buried under a concrete memorial with his family...

I loved the third season of Dexter which ended recently...Now I've been watching the previous seasons on dvd to pass the time....Oh how I miss the banter between DEXTER and DOAKES!!!

Horror Movies I NEED to see in 2009

Here's a list of some HORROR movies coming to us in 2009....as some of you know, I'm not thrilled about a FRIDAY the 13th remake so I'm not touching that one....Well, let's get this started and...HAPPY NEW YEAR!


1.TERMINATOR SALVATION: The Future Begins May 2009
This one stars my favorite (other than DEXTER MORGAN) serial killer of all time Patrick Bateman a.k.a Christian Bale as John Connor in his 30's. I've seen the trailer for this and must admit that this is gonna be one kick ass film...Take a look for yourself!



2.The BOX opens JULY 2009
Based on the short story by Richard Matheson, "The Box" stars Cameron Diaz as Norma Lewis and James Marsden as Arthur Lewis, a suburban couple with a young child who receive a simple wooden box as a gift, which bears fatal and irrevocable consequences. A mysterious stranger, played by Frank Langella, delivers the message that the box promises to bestow upon its owner $1 million with the press of a button. But, pressing this button will simultaneously cause the death of another human being somewhere in the world...someone they don't know. With just 24 hours to have the box in their possession, Norma and Arthur find themselves in the crosshairs of a startling moral dilemma and must face the true nature of their humanity.
*For those that don't know Richard Matheson wrote I AM LEGEND and 30 Days of Night.

4.The New Daughter - Date unknown
Kevin Costner stars as John James, a single father who moves to a house in the country with his two children following a painful divorce. Soon, however, his adolescent daughter (Ivana Baquero) begins acting strangely, and the household is plagued by disturbing events. John begins to suspect that the mysterious mound at the edge of the forest may have something to do with her ominous behavior.

Honorable Mention: MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D
I liked this when it came out in the 80's...I'm also a SUCKER for anything in 3D! So I might give this one a go!

Busy for the holidays!

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! I was pretty busy and not able to post any reviews of horror flicks so I will have them soon...

My Bruce Campbell pix aren't online yet because of my laptop being without power ( I am currently typing on a friend's computer)....
Everything's coming together and I hope to get all the latest to you soon.

In the meantime, I will be rooting for my BALTIMORE RAVENS in the NFL playoffs and working on getting you some more horror news....
