***There are NO MAJOR SPOILERS in my movie reviews.***
DO YOU HAVE A HORROR MOVIE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO REVIEW?
Yes I guess you can call me a FANGBANGER! I have been watching TRUE BLOOD ON HBO since it aired in September and man am I hooked! As soon as I saw the previews I went out and purchased the first 2 books in the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. The books are great and I already know who the killer is and Sam's secret....Last week's episode had a mysterious naked chick in the woods that is foreshadowing to the second book...And also the Bellefleurs have a connection to one of our main vamps!
Check this series out! If you have Comcast on Demand go to HBO series---TRUE BLOOD and watch it from the beginning!
That's right horror freaks! I saw BRUCE in person yet again! He came to town to promote his latest film MY NAME IS BRUCE! GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! READ MORE about MY NIGHT WITH BRUCE on the BRUCE CAMPBELL TRIBUTE PAGE! (LINK IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE!)

Hey gang! Just wanted to let you all know that I did get a chance to visit a GREAT HALLOWEEN HAUNT this year! If you live near the Pennsylvania area I HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT!
It's called HALLOWEEN PARK and you can visit their site at HALLOWEEN PARK
They have a great HOUSE OF TERROR full of LIVE actors. A DISORIENTING TERROR BEHIND THE DOORS that puts you in a dark maze full of hallways and doors and creepy actors (WARNING: you could be in this maze all night!). And the BEST part of HALLOWEEN PARK is the HOUSE OF DOOM which is a totally interactive haunt with NO live actors! It's just YOU, your friends and rooms full of puzzles that you must solve in order to move on to the next room! Watch out though, every clue brings a SCARE!
The weather was great for our trip! Being as how it had drizzled all day and stopped later in the afternoon, we had a VERY CREEPY FOG all over the place!!! I wanted a T SHIRT SO BAD FROM THIS PLACE BUT THEY HAD NONE TO OFFER THIS YEAR :( ....MAYBE NEXT YEAR!
PLEASE RUN-DON'T WALK NOW TO HALLOWEEN PARK- YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED!
I haven't been able to visit a HAUNTED ATTRACTION yet this season but I would like to suggest a few for you to consider while you are out and about this week! These are some HAUNTS that I have visited over the last couple of years!
FIELD OF SCREAMS Mountville, PA FIELD OF SCREAMS This is a great haunt that I've visited 3 years in a row! They have a DEN OF DARKNESS, FRIGHTMARE ASYLUM, and HAUNTED HAYRIDE....
Pay the extra $10 for VIP-it's worth it! THE LINES GET LONG!!!
EASTERN STATE PENITENTIARY This is a great haunt in a REAL prison! It's the average haunt style through some of the prison....BUT I WOULD LOVE TO VISIT THE PRISON DURING DAYTIME HOURS----it's THAT CREEPY! PLUS ELVIRA WILL BE THERE THIS HALLOWEEN-how good does it get!?!!! Eastern State Penitentiary
Of course the MUTHA of all haunts is HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS at UNIVERSAL STUDIOS....I hope to get there next year....
Hey there horror fans! HORROR CHICK here, typing to you from work. The ONLY place where I can get a decent internet connection. Apologies to anyone that takes time out to visit...I have been offline for a bit-tending to some personal matters...All is well, so let's get started!
FIRST off, I would like to wish everyone a HAPPY HALLOWEEN week! Tis here my friends...And I have ALOT of horror movies to review! GOOD news for those of you with COMCAST ON DEMAND- MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN is on your menu so HURRY and watch it! It's is a GREAT movie and I highly recommend it!
Some flicks I will be reviewing for your pleasure this week:
DANCE OF THE DEAD .... (I'll post the rest as soon as I can see them!)
As I posted before, it seemed that Halloween Horror Nights was in the works with something new this year. I thought it was a House On Haunted Hill theme. Boy was I wrong! Seems BLOODY MARY is the subject of this year's ORLANDO HHN production. I'm not sure, but I think they are associating this MARY with the Dr. Mary that recorded experiments in the earlier version of the website. Anyhoo, here's a short commercial to give you a taste.
Now, CALIFORNIA's HHN seemes to be going with last year's NEW LINE CINEMA monsters theme. That theme included horror icons such as FREDDY, LEATHERFACE and JASON. Why the difference this year at the two different locations? I'm not sure. Seems they kicked out ole Jack that was the master of scare-e-monies for many years. I'm glad because Jack really didn't scare me much whenever I checked out HHN's sites. HOWEVER, they have replaced Jack with FREDDY! How cool is that?! Just wish they could bring this to the ORLANDO location...
So here's the site if you wanna check both out. HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS There are choices for which location you would like info on. Make sure you check out both. ORLANDO's looks like it has plenty to offer!
It's time for the fall season of tv kiddies....And with my patience thinning for "13:fear is real" coming to the CW network, I found something else interesting that I will definitely be tuning in to.
TRUE BLOOD on HBO. Like vampires? If you do you will enjoy this new series.
Here's the synopsis on the series:
"Thanks to a Japanese scientist's invention of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. And while humans have been safely removed from the menu, many remain apprehensive about these creatures "coming out of the coffin." Religious leaders and government officials around the world have chosen their sides, but in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps, the jury is still out.
Local waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), however, knows how it feels to be an outcast. "Cursed" with the ability to listen in on people's thoughts, she's also open-minded about the integration of vampires — particularly when it comes to Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), a handsome 173-year-old living up the road. But as Sookie is drawn into a series of mysteries surrounding Bill's arrival in Bon Temps, that tolerance will be put to the test.
A sexy, scary new drama from 'Six Feet Under' creator Alan Ball, 'True Blood' delves into the meticulously-crafted world of novelist Charlaine Harris. Described by the Emmy®-winning Ball as "popcorn for smart people" and featuring a colorful cast of local misfits, 'True Blood' promises an intense ride."
I'm anxious to get the books by Charlaine Harris. My attention to this series started by spotting a full page ad in Entertainment Weekly of the "TRU BLOOD" beverage. I thought this looked like a cool new drink....Then I went to the site and discovered that this was part of a cool viral campaign for the TRUE BLOOD series on HBO... There's also a new blog for vampires, a dating site, and sites for humans OPPOSED to the presence of vampires in the community....
HERE's A LIST of the sites that are associated with the show so you can get started before it premieres SEPTEMBER 7th!
I love magicians...If I ever attended a magic show like the one the main character in this movie-MONTAG the MAGNIFICENT puts on, I WOULD LOVE IT! Were there any gory magic tricks? YES! So real that the patrons were ready to walk out! But did these tricks EVER REALLY occur???? Or was there something or someone actually performing these morbid acts? This is the mindf**k that WIZARD OF GORE has to offer for viewers. This is a great movie full of blood, mystery and magic!
SEE THIS movie if you like ANY of the following:
* Blood * Gore * Freaky Magicians * Crispin Glover * Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator) * Boobies (Courtesy of the SUICIDE GIRLS)
I recommend this flick for anyone that likes GORE+MAGIC!
I am watching WIZARD OF GORE and will be doing a review for you all shortly! Let's look at the synopsis of the film:
A mysterious magician has some very unpleasant secrets in this gory tale of terror. Edmund Bigelow (Kip Pardue) is the publisher of Cacophony Gazette, a journal that covers the cutting edge of art and performance in California. Jaded Bigelow thinks he's seen it all until he and his girlfriend Maggie (Bijou Phillips) take in a show by Montag the Magician (Crispin Glover), who with the help of his sidekick the Geek (Jeffrey Combs) delivers a stomach-turning show in which he brings volunteers on stage and dismembers them, only to have his victims stagger off stage at the end of the show, shaken but still very much alive. Bigelow soon becomes obsessed with Montag's show and wants to know more about him and his illusions, but he suspects that there might be more to the magician's show than he imagined when maimed bodies start appearing all over L.A., and with the help of his pals Jinky (Joshua Miller) and Dr. Chong (Brad Dourif) they discover the bizarre secret behind Montag's hold over his audience. Based on a cult-favorite gore film from Hershel Gordon Lewis, The Wizard of Gore also features several members of the contemporary burlesque troupe the Suicide Girls as Montag's volunteers.
Woody Harrelson is set to bash some brains and battle zombies.
The actor has signed on to star in the horror comedy "Zombieland," which Ruben Fleischer is directing for Columbia Pictures.
Written by the team of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick ("The Joe Schmo Show"), "Zombieland" revolves around a mismatched pair of survivors who find friendship and redemption in a world overrun by zombies. Harrelson plays one of the men, a zombie fighter named Albuquerque.
There's a film soon to be released ON DVD that has a pretty cool synopsis. Here's the rundown on MIDNIGHT MOVIE!...
SYNOPSIS: A group of friends go out to a MIDNIGHT showing of a 70's horror flick, and they get their money's worth when the killer from the movie is actually in the theater!
The killer has a SWEET-ASS mask that gets HIGH POINTS from me on my HORROR SCALE! Here's some pics to give you a glimpse!
I saw the new SAW V BLOOD DRIVE poster today and had an observation that I'd like to share with you.
Seems the nurse looks like "PINHEAD" from the HELLRAISER films....Coincidence? I don't think so.
Considering that LIONSGATE (who distributes the SAW films) pulled the stops on the much anicipated "MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN", which was directed by CLIVE BARKER. See- Clive Barker created the HELLRAISER movies.... I think this is LIONSGATE's way of giving CLIVE BARKER the finger! Clive-CALL YOUR LAWYERS!!!!
Hey horror fans! As some of you know, I take a trek, A PILGRIMAGE IF YOU WILL, every year to the HORRORFIND WEEKEND convention here in Maryland....Well, it's almost here! I will be there FRIDAY AUGUST 15th getting the lowdown on all the happenings at this year's horror-con! I plan on taking my camera for great pics and videos of what it's all about, so STAY TUNED for more from my VISIT TO HORRORFIND WEEKEND 08!
Well kiddies, HORROR CHICK had an AMAZING time at VIRGIN FEST 08 down at PIMLICO Race Course HERE IN MARYLAND!!! I had CRAB CAKE sandwiches with COLD BEER! YUM-MY! Caught a circus act full of sword-swallowers and high wire stunts! Watched some ROLLER DERBY GIRLS kick ass on the asphalt! And got the VIP treatment!!! My shirt was a BIG hit with the crowd. I wore my "BRUCE CAMPBELL IS MY HOMEBOY" t shirt and I even had one guy ask to take a picture of it!!!
Acts that ROCKED:
The Black Keys- Their set cut WAYYYYY too short because of that midget LIL WAYNE! I'm still PISSED about it!!!
Stone Temple Pilots- Sounded GREAT! Please check them out before Scott Weiland leaves again!
NIN--THEY BLEW THE HOUSE DOWN! This show was by far THE BEST OF THE FEST!!! Trent Reznor has gotten a lil buff since last I saw him- and man, does he look GOOD! Ladies you will REALLY enjoy seeing him live! They had a GREAT light show with a fantastic screen curtain which simulated rain and burst of light all through the performance! If you have a chance to see NIN on tour this year - GO!
Here's a video I took of NIN performing at the fest!
NOW ON TO THE HORROR REVIEWS.... SPIRAL This was a fantastc movie! About a guy that really doesn't seem too sociable towards the opposite sex. He's an artist but has a lot of secrets. Finally, one girl seems to take to our loner but she soon finds out that our artist has other plans for her on his canvas.... This is a great suspenseful horror film....Not a lot of GORE, but it really plays with your head a little toward the end... I definitely recommend this one! RENT/BUY it now! You WON'T be disappointed!!! HERE'S A TRAILER TO GIVE YOU A LOOK!
NEXT UP- BRUTAL MASSACRE This film is a mockumentary of a horror movie in the making...It's full of comedy and strange characers. It follows an unlucky director and his loyal crew on what may be his LAST horror film ever. Don't miss these great characters played by Ken Foree, Ellen Sandeweiss, Brian O'Halloran,Gunnar Hansen and David Naughton. GUNNAR HANSEN cracked me up! Best character in the movie!!! HERE'S A TRAILER FOR THE FILM:
The BIGGEST EVENT for HALLOWEEN is HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS at Universal Studios. Every year they create an entire environment dead-icated to scaring the SH*T out of you!
Last year the theme involved New Line Cinemas' Horror Legends. Freddy, Jason and Leatherface.
This year's theme is a mystery. BUT if you go to their site you can get an idea of what it may be. It's VERY CREEPY and seems almost like a HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL type story. Sick twisted psychological experiments that torture the patients to fatal results.
Here's the site for more! Make sure you click on active items and case studies to get more CREEPY info!
Well, as I reported on an earlier post, Sam Raimi has helped to create a HORROR THEMED reality challenge show for the CW network. This was to be shown sometime over the summer of 2008. After I saw a pic from the San-Diego Comic-Con (above) featuring a SHEMP in a 13:fear is real shirt for advertising purposes, I knew that there HAD to be an update out there somewhere on when exactly I can see this damn show!
Apparently, it will be on the CW in the FALL of 2008. I also found a VERY SHORT tv spot online for the show.
p.s. It looks like the shemp in the pic above has some sort of RAT CAGE on his head. I just hope this show doesn't turn out to be like FEAR FACTOR...
Yet another tragedy to horror and Clive Barker fans. Fans have been looking forward to seeing MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN in theaters ever since word got out about the flick while in production. I read about it in a Fangoria magazine and couldn't wait to see it in theaters....
Now, your chances of seeing it in a theater near you are SLIM TO NONE. It seems LIONGATE has only put the film in 100 theaters nationwide. And these theaters are BARGAIN theaters-offering tickets anywhere from $1-$3.50 a piece. WHAT THE F**K?!
One of my favorite websites http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com has written about the details concerning this whole MIDNIGHT MEAT "TRAIN-WRECK" caused by LIONSGATE. All I can say is I'll remember this when SAW V is released this OCTOBER. Seems the SAW franchise is the only horror film that LIONSGATE feels is profitable.
Here's shocktillyoudrop's article and a MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN trailer for you to enjoy (cause that's all we will get until the DVD comes out!!!)
FROM SHOCKTILLYOUDROP'S website: "Clive Barker's Midnight Meat Train opens in theaters today. Good luck trying to catch a ride. In the wake of months of questionable decision-making concerning the Ryuhei Kitamura-directed film, Lionsgate opted to release the film on 100 screens (as previously reported) in bargain theaters only. Websites are rallying together, initiating a move to seek out theaters selling tickets online, then buy as many as you're willing to pay for, even if you can't make the screening. But I'm confused. Who is this supporting, exactly?
Since the drama began, Lionsgate's fumbling of the film appeared to be a callous consequence to new and old regime in-fighting. Reports, including a few here on Shock, pointed to Joe Drake - a Ming the Merciless of horror, if you will - as the offender, accused of dropping all pictures once shepherded by Peter Block (save for anything Saw-related, natch). The studio's mindset extends much deeper than personal grudges and veers into - gasp - business-related territory as it turns out. One insider called in today to tell me Lionsgate was "sweetening a deal" it has set up with the theaters selected to run the film. They'll be granted greater incentives later down the road when sure-fire hits like Saw V are released. Also, keep in mind these are theaters that have no qualms about harboring a film sans a major advertising push. Lionsgate has injected next to zilch in a marketing campaign. They drop the film into bargain theaters so they don't have to spend a dime on ads.
Taking that one step further... As distributor, Lionsgate was contractually obligated to give the film a theatrical release. But as one source says, even though they've made back any money spent on the production thanks to foreign sales, Lionsgate is still in danger of paying out fees if its domestic box office reaches a certain mark. So, again, the solution to avoid this is to put the film in obscure bargain theaters and ensure they don't reach that number.
This brings me back to today's rallying cry for help. To me, it's like hitting a deer, finding it by the side of the road fatally injured, propping it back on its feet and, like a marionette, helping it to move again thinking all is okay. The damage is done here. Lionsgate obviously dropped the ball, the fans got screwed and the individuals behind-the-scenes (I'm talking about those who creatively worked on the picture) are left with a sour taste in their mouths. I know Kitamura if frustrated as f**k and is ready to move on. Others are over it and are hoping MMT will find its recognition on DVD.
But to stir up everyone to buy tickets online (which is a difficult feat in and of itself) shows what, exactly? That the fans are out there? Well, sure - they've been supporting it since they smelled trouble months ago. That the fans want horror? That's nice, dear. Lionsgate doesn't care. They know you're going to be back in their lovin' arms when Saw V comes a-hoppin' along. Your ticket sales are going right back to them anyway - so it's a double-edged sword. On one side you want to support the film, on the other you're supporting the very studio that screwed you. Ouch.
And don't get me wrong. I'm behind the flick. My review falls in line with the many positive opinions of support. It has just got me thinking about all of this craziness. Just before I sat down to spew some thoughts (and mind you, this is just my opinion - you're free to disagree with me, of course), I got a call from a filmmaker who begged the question, "Where is this kind of support for all of the other great films facing distribution troubles? Is it only because it's Clive?" I don't believe it's simply because of Barker's attachment. It goes beyond that - the movie is good. Audiences do deserve to have it as an option when they walk into a theater this weekend. But it did get me thinking of the other flicks waiting in the wings - like, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, delayed for well over a year now - or those that have forgone a theatrical run and were dumped to DVD, such as Inside.
How does one pick and choose the films you fleetingly mention from time to time and the ones you fight for tooth and nail? Furthermore, to the point where you're telling people to go out and buy tickets? That's a lot of responsibility and putting your own neck on the line. Because if those fans don't like the film, you're f**ked. My stance is this: MMT has fallen victim to Hollywood's Darwinian law of survival. It was devoured by the hyenas of the boardroom. And as an observer, all I can do at this point is understand the "whys" and the "hows" of this unfortunate thing that has happened to a good film.
If you want to buy a ticket - even if it's playing nowhere near you - by all means, do so if it makes you feel like you're supporting a cause. All I ask is question how that dollar or two is being used."
I know that MANY production companies right now are working on remakes of classic HORROR films. My question is WHY? We ALL loved the originals, so why remake them? WE all know Friday the 13th and A Nightmare On Elm Street are in the midst of a MAKEOVER, but it kinda saddens me to see that it has come to this. Rob Zombie released his version of Halloween and it was alot different from the original. Did I like it? Yes... Does it hold a candle to the original? NO. I like the suspense in the original film as opposed to the IN-YOUR-FACE thrills of the Zombie version. Don't get me wrong, I like a great in your face horror movie, but to compare that to the great suspense of the original just doesn't work. But if I have to choose between the two the ORIGINAL would be my fave.
Now this would be the same with the Friday the 13th and NIGHTMARE remakes to come. I hear that Freddy WILL NOT be played by Robert Englund--HOW DARE THEY! There is NO ONE else that can do FREDDY like ENGLUND does FREDDY!!! I WILL see the remakes, but I think that I will still like the originals better. There's just nothing like popping in a horror flick from the 70's or 80's on a weekend night. It's just nostalgic to me I guess.
I read once that Sam Raimi was thinking of giving new directors a shot at making their own versions of EVIL DEAD....WHAT THE F**K?!!!! Do you really think that Bruce Campbell's fans would like to see SOMEONE else play the part of ASH??? That's just SACRILEGE!
So film companies gave us sequels, and that's just fine....But then they started with PREQUELS....ok? I can do a prequel---...you know, learn about my fave character BEFORE they became the bloodthirsty beast they are today. BUT REMAKES? I have to draw the line there. There are so many talented writers out there that have to have some ORIGINAL stories to tell.
Well now that I've vented, I'm going to check out what the "NEW" JASON looks like from stills taken during production of the new FRIDAY THE 13th.
I have been trying to cram in some HORROR flicks while working 70 hours at work for the past two weeks. I was able to watch a great movie called MUTANT CHRONICLES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this movie on DVD if you enjoy any of the following:
Military themed video games Horror themed video games Freaky UNDEAD mutants Things that explode Massive firepower
Here's a quick synopsis of the film to give you an idea of what it's about.

Here's a few trailers that are worth checking out!

Art student Danny Sloan falls in love with her, unaware that her hospital neighbor, a terrifying mass murderer and mesmerist named Byron Volpe has other, more sinister plans. Sloan helps Laura escape from her hospital prison only to discover that Volpe is about to enter her dreams. Written by Steven Jay Rubin
The Echo
The Dark Lurking Synopsis: Something has gone terribly wrong at Outpost 30, a secret international research facility some five hundred meters beneath the snow blown arctic wilderness. All communications are gone, all means of escape destroyed and an extremely dangerous horde of ancient creatures is on the loose after a doorway to an unspeakable evil has been unleashed. Eight survivors, two former research patients, three SOCOM Troops, two research technicians and a cleaner barricade themselves inside a remote area of the facility with little food, almost no ammunition and little hope of rescue. Their one possible escape route is through thirteen levels of terror that will lead them to the surface. And one of them is not who they seem to be, the darkness itself which has taken human form.

the poughkeepsie tapes Synopsis: A serial killer obsessively documents his career in carnage in this pseudo-documentary thriller. When police raid a house in upstate New York, they discover a profoundly disturbing record of one man's ugly crimes. A psychotic serial killer once called the house his home, and along with the implements of his grisly pastime, investigators find over 240 hours of videotape shot by the killer which present a visual record of his murders in all their horrifying details. Both state and federal law enforcement teams sift through the gruesome images, looking for clues of the slayer's identity, the identity of his victims, and where he could possibly have gone. But repeated viewings of the material reveal little beyond the terrible facts of the crimes, and as the authorities comb through the madman's images, they find the tapes have had a disquieting effect on them.
I'm NOT a fan of REALITY TV. I believe the last time I saw a really GREAT competition show was the short-lived "Murder In Smalltown X" on FOX. This show has a cult following but the fans just can't seem to get it back on the air. The purpose behind this show was to gather contestants and show them a tape that a murderer recorded as he attacked a well-known family in the small town of Sunrise, Maine. The contestants were to scout the town, talk to the townspeople and try to figure out who the killer was.
That show aired during the summer of 2001 and was never brought back due to the tragedy of the Twin Towers in September of that year. The winner of "Murder In Smalltown X", a firefighter, was one of the first responders at Ground Zero and subsequently died because of his heroic efforts. R.I.P. Angel Juarbe Jr.
Well... Now, HORROR fans are getting a second chance at REALITY tv... Sam Raimi is working on a HORROR theme REALITY competition show. The working title is "13" and it should be airing on the CW network in the summer of 2008! I'm not thrilled that it's on the CW but beggars can't be choosers! Here's the low down:
“13″ (working title), a spine-tingling new eight-episode series combining the horror genre with a reality show format, will premiere in the summer of 2008, it was announced by Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment, The CW.
The show’s executive producers are Jay Bienstock (”Survivor,” “The Apprentice”) and Ghost House Pictures’ Sam Raimi (the “Spider-Man” films, “The Evil Dead” films) and Robert Tapert, (”The Evil Dead” films, “The Grudge” films). Ghost House Pictures’ Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane will produce.
“This series is the first to take the horror movie into the reality world,” said Ostroff. “The action takes contestants on a journey with challenges and games designed to frighten them along the way. Similar to horror films, the challenges will play into our deepest fears and anxieties and will reveal things the contestants never knew about themselves.” “13″ (working title) is produced by Magic Molehill Productions in association with Jay Bienstock Productions and Ghost House Pictures. "
I'm still checking my Direct TV guide for an airing date but I have HAD NO LUCK! I'll keep you posted if I find out when this show airs!!!
Bruce Campbell recently talked to Entertainment Weekly about his USA netwrok series "BURN NOTICE" which returns JULY 10 for a second season! I highly recommend checking it out. BUT for this part of the interview, the subject turned to the EVIL DEAD movies....The CHIN has been asked this question SO MANY TIMES that we ALL just want an answer! But my horror friends, it sounds like the man that we need to ask is SAM RAIMI. If Sam's on board-then Bruce is TOO!
Bruce Campbell is my FAVORITE HORROR actor. I've met him in person a couple times and he's a GREAT GUY! Just to say "Hey Bruce!" and hear him reply, "Hey BABY!" was a GREAT EXPERIENCE! He's really cool! And he loves my KOOKY shirts!
So why am I excited? Oh, my friends, BRUCE IS BACK!!! This October his new film "MY NAME IS BRUCE" will be released.
You can view the trailer here at the VIDEO BAR at the bottom of the page.
He plays HIMSELF and it looks like a RIOT!!! I feel like screaming "HELL YEAH!" everytime I see the beginning of the trailer! It looks like another BRUCE classic kids! I pass the time watching him on BURN NOTICE on the USA network. It's a great series that I recommend for those that like action packed shows. BUT I like my Bruce with a bit of HORROR flavoring. So check out the trailer and see what you think! CHIN fans UNITE!
I liked this movie. It was different from the usual flick full of zombies or maniac killers. Instead these were real life kids studying to cut up real life corpses. The only thing is, there is an underlying sick game going on between a certain clique of students. This is a fast paced film that pulls you in with the main character. It's predictable how revenge will be extracted, but the surprised ending makes sure that VENGENCE is indeed served.

NOTE: If, by chance, you were NAUSEOUS during the AUTOPSY scene in SAW IV I would be safe in saying that you would NOT like this movie. With the subject being PATHOLOGY, the students are practicing to be MEDICAL EXAMINERS and show their studies IN GREAT DETAIL. If you are SENSITIVE to these SPECIAL FX, I wouldn't recommend this to you... BUT if you're sensitive, then why the hell are you watching HORROR films anyway????
Ever since I was able to "TRICK or TREAT" I have been OBSESSED with all things HALLOWEEN and HORROR related. Costumes, Masks, Decorations, Props, Special FX Makeup and FILMS...I grew up IDOLIZING people like ELVIRA and LOVED sneaking peeks at movies like "The THING" at the DRIVE-IN as a child...TWISTED? YES... Anyone that knows me KNOWS I love HORROR. I've PAINTED portraits of FAMOUS horror ICONS...I've visited NUMEROUS HORROR CONVENTIONS...I've met BRUCE CAMPBELL, ROBERT ENGLUND, KANE HODDER, SID HAIG, GEORGE ROMERO, ALEX VINCENT, ARI LEHMAN, ADRIENNE BARBEAU, KEN FOREE AND TOM SAVINI...
I have received great praise from these stars for the PORTRAITS that I have painted of them...I also have MANY of their AUTOGRAPHS on their PORTRAITS! I go ALL OUT for the Halloween holiday with decorations GALORE in the yard!(and my car for that matter!) Horror is a HUGE part of my life...And if your viewing this- WELCOME TO IT!
